As reported in the Dallas Morning News today, there are 3 North Texas cities that make the national low crime list, ALLEN, FRISCO and MCKINNEY. The CQ Press is the research organization that gathers information from FBI statistics and local crime statistics and compiles a report. 2010-2011 statistics place Frisco, Allen & McKinney among the top 50 cities in the nation and the top 5 in Texas with the lowest crime rates.
FRISCO ranked number 2 in Texas and number 14 in the nation, Allen was ranked number 1 in Texas and number 9 in the nation and McKinney was ranked number 5 in Texas and number 41 in the nation. With these numbers, it's no wonder Frisco and Collin County are the fastest growing areas in the United States, again.
