Yes, you still can find 100% USDA financing on home loans. In 2009 the USDA instilled changes that allowed borrowers to become eligible for rural mortgages without having to be in the military.
Today, these loans are still available in certain rural areas which are based on the last census. The USDA loan is the only zero money down program for borrowers. The criteria to be eligible for a USDA loan include the county and zip code of the home your want to purchase, your current income and credit history (yes this is still a factor), as well as the number of dependents you can claim.
